TGF Dressy Joyce

Ok...so, I was never into making cutesy cards before...my style was more classy and sophisticated (or at least I like to think so :P)...
However, I have always had a love for Japanese manga and anime which I was exposed to through my oldest brother...and also have always loved Hello Kitty and cute Japanese stationary...maybe it's the Asian blood in me (I'm part Chinese)...LOL...so, in other words, I DO like "Japanese cute"...LOL, that is the only way I can describe it!  Super deformed characters with big heads and little bodies...I LOVE them!
I recently discovered The Greeting Farm 2-3 months ago while watching Copic tutorials on YouTube.  Soon after that, I ordered a bunch of Copic markers and although my first attempt at colouring with them, I was surprisingly happy, I soon became frustrated with them and thought I'd NEVER get good at using them!  I never was very good at colouring...probably because I can be impatient and get frustrated easily, LOL, can you tell?  I only practiced with them about 3 times and then I finally took a VERY short class called Copic Cuties with Tanya at Photo Express (one of the local scrapbooking stores).  It's a monthly one hour class in which you make one card using copics...Tanya gave me a few pointers but, I still need to take some full-blown Copic classes...I have A LOT to learn still....I really don't even know the basics but, I must say that Tanya helped me a whole lot because I practiced colouring once since her class and then in the past week and a half, I have actually not only used Copics on one card, but FIVE!  Woohoo!  This is my fourth card using Copics and second time colouring hair.  I am having a BLAST!  About a month ago, I placed my first order with The Greeting Farm and am SO glad that I did!  TGF images are absolutely AMAZING!  They're FUN and EASY to colour...I never thought I'd enjoy colouring so much!
Sorry for talking your ears off...or should I say typing your eyes off?  LOL, that doesn't sound right at all!  Without further ado, here is my card:

I got pretty lazy the last couple of days and this is a photo I took with my iPhone 4.  I may change the photos later if I take some better ones with my actual camera...I also didn't put a sentiment on this card...perhaps I'll just wait until I have an occasion to use it for...
This is also my first time using a digi...I had to toy around with it a bit to get it the correct size but, I definitely like the fact that I CAN resize it...

Lol!! Other than the part chinese older brother I think I could've written this post myself!! I did not like the "cutesy" stamps until I got into copics either, especially Maggies.. I know!! {gasp}!! And it was amazing to me that as I was learning I just practiced, and practiced,, and you know!! Then all of the sudden, it just worked! You're hooked g/f and I couldn't be happier for ya! Love this TGF and I had completely forgotten about them having digis! The whole card is perfect!!
