Here is a Valentine's Day card that I made with one of the new sets, Miss Anya Garland:

Isn't she just the CUTEST?!  I ADORE the Miss Anya Collection and this set is NO EXCEPTION!  I just had a BLAST colouring her up...that is one of the BEST things about TGF, their images are just so FUN to colour!

I used this sketch from Iwona Palamountain aka. Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday 43:

This week, I got to play with a beautiful medallion stamp set from The Craft's Meow, called Simply Delightful.

Here is what I made:

LOL, since I didn't want to buy 250 mini candycanes just to make one card, I ended up going to the dollar store and buying a box of 18 for $1.00 but, apparently dollar store candy canes are not quite as attractive!  Haha...this one is a bit short and stubby...oh well...I still think it's cute enough....

Anyway, if you have some time to play, head on over to DYSU and join in the fun!
I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!

Happy Holidays!

TGF Customer Blog Hop

Good day everyone!
I am excited to be participating, today, in The Greeting Farm's 3rd Annual Customer Blog Hop!

All of the participants are using TGF stamps and sharing either a holiday project or a general project...some of the more ambitious participants are probably sharing both!  I had hoped to do both but, given that it's the busiest time of year AND I got hit with a NASTY cold/flu this past week, I didn't manage to make a holiday project.  I do, however, have a birthday card that I made for a friend's 1 year old daughter.

Here it is:

Unfortunately, as I was in a bit of a rush to finish this card, I forgot to add pearls or rhinestones to the tiara, OH NO!  Well, I still think it turned out to be pretty cute but, what a shame...
The sentiment on the inside read "Hope you have a royally wonderful birthday".  I just love that sentiment...I basically bought an entire 4x6 stamp set JUST for that sentiment!
It was my first time using Princess No. 3 from The Greeting Farm and isn't she just ADORABLE?  I also used papers from Echo Park Victoria Garden and a die from Spellbinders Ribbon Banners.  The front sentiment is from a Recollections set that I bought at Michael's but, no matter what I did, I couldn't get it to stamp well...

I used this FABULOUS sketch from Iwona Palamountain aka. Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #41 as inspiration:

If you have already been hopping along, I hope you're having fun looking at everyone's fabulous creations!  If this is your first stop, I recommend that you go to the TGF Blog for the list of participants and hop along....it is a large blog hop but, one VERY lucky hopper will win the ENTIRE JANUARY RELEASE from TGF!  That's a HUGE prize of 6 stamps sets!
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Christmas and thanks for stopping by my blog!

This time around, I have a baby card to share with you.  I made it for the Flourishes Feminine Flair Challenge.  They ask that you create a project and use pearls, ribbon, and lace for that feminine touch!

So, here is my SUPER feminine baby card:

I used the beautiful Baby Love stamp set from Flourishes and the very girly MME Lost & Found Madison Avenue for an UBER feminine flair.

I also drew inspiration from Iwona Palamountain aka Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Sketch from a couple of weeks ago:

I hope you like what you see...thanks for stopping by!

It actually isn't my first time being chosen as Top Spool, I was fortunate enough to be given the honors back in October for this card:

I used the ADORABLE Hallo Witch Digi from The Greeting Farm.  If you'd like to see a detailed supply list, please see the original post for this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope that unlike me, you're all prepared for Christmas and enjoying all of the pleasures the season brings!

DYSU #50 - Winter

Hi all! Welcome back for a new challenge here at Do You Stack Up?! As the chilly weather moves in, we want you to show us your Winter projects!

This week's Sponsors:

Crafty Emma
£10 Gift Voucher (exc p&p)

Digi Darla
Digital Stamp Club
One Month’s Membership
Inky Impressions
$10 Gift Certificate

Here is my project for this week...and FINALLY, something other than a card!

Well, I'm actually feeling REALLY under the weather right now, so I'll keep this short and sweet...
This project was SUPER easy although, it was my first ornament so, it took a lot longer than it should've..a lot of tweaking...
Basically, I just printed and coloured my image (Digi Darla - Caroling kids), coloured it, cut it out and mounted it on a piece of acetate which I cut a circle out of usin Spellbinders Classic Circles.  I then rolled it up and put it inside the ornament, adjusted it, added Diamond Dust, and recapped it.  Last, I added a bow with some jingle bells and voila!  An easy holiday ornament!  I had been wanting to stamp some white snowflakes onto the acetate but, I didn't have any white StazOn nor did I have an acetate that can take heat embossing...mine just kept warping...so, now snowflakes this time but, perhaps next time, I'll be more prepared!

I apologize for the poor photo quality...I couldn't manage to get a photo without getting a glare on the ornament...I ordered a photo tent/light set up so, I am hoping that soon, I won't have these types of problems anymore!

Anyway, I hope you like my project and that you'll stop by DYSU and join in the fun this week!
Happy Holidays!

Supply List:
Cardstock: PTI - White

Copics: Assorted
Ornament: Celebrate It - Plastic Craft Ornament (Michaels)

TGF Odette

Hello Everyone and Happy Saturday!
Can you believe that Christmas is just over two weeks away?!  I'm FREAKING out!  I usually am already planning for Christmas in October and pretty much prepared by the end of November...
This year, I'm SO unprepared PLUS we are hosting both family dinners this year....we ALWAYS host my family dinner on Christmas Day but, we although we've hosted the hubby's family dinner a few times in years past, we don't do it EVERY year and I just found out that he told his mom we'd be the hosts this year.  Yikes!  Good thing HE cooks...LOL, I just have to clean and decorate but, I'm STILL scrambling!

Anyway....I made a card a while back and entered it into the TGF December Guest Designer Contest.  Needless to say, I didn't win but, I've still been wanting to post it to my blog but, I keep forgetting!
So, here it is:

I made the flower from satin ribbon and a CTMH rhinestone brad and my mom made the stick pins...I was going for a retro 40's type feel here since odette's outfit and hair kind of remind me of that era (or updated versions of 40's style) hence the prints and muted colours I used as well as the crochet lace and stickpins...I think I achieved what I was going for....

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

DYSU #49 - Something Old

So glad you could join us once again for a new challenge at Do You Stack Up?! This week we want to see Something Old! It could truly be something old, or just a vintage style or image.

This week's Sponsors:

Saturated Canary Digis
Winner’s Choice of 2 Digis

Gecko Galz
Prize Package: Pack of paper of the winners choice, 4 collage sets of the winners choice, a stamp set of the winners choice, and vintage pearl button pack, vintage lace, and Gecko Galz fibers

Here is what I came up with this week:

I got the pleasure of working with Gecko Galz Ephemera Packs (you can either buy the digital files and print them yourself or buy them pre-printed) this week and I chose to use "All the Trimmings" but, I'm looking forward to using their GORGEOUS vintage images again soon....In fact, I think I may try to make a bunch more similar to this as I STILL am not done my Christmas cards, LOL, and an added bonus to using these images (aside from their beauty) is that they don't need to be coloured which makes for a quick card, YAY!  I'm VERY pleased with the results aside from the fact that I stamped the sentiment crooked...YIKES!  I think I'll be investing in a Stamp-a-ma-jig VERY soon, LOL!
Oh yes, I almost forgot to mention....for something old, I used a button that my mom has had kicking around for 20+ years...I was hoping she'd go raid my grandma's stash for me but, that hasn't happened yet...I don't know what kind of goodies she has stored away but, I bet there are some real gems!

I am using this card for the DT Call over at Pumpkin Spice.  I don't know if you have shopped with them before but, when I found them, I was over-joyed because they carry pretty much ALL of the BEST paper lines and EVERYTHING is 30% off retail!  They also carry some other paper-crafting supplies and accessories...To sweeten the deal even more, they offer free shipping within the US on orders of $50+....if you haven't already, I urge to you check out the Shop Pumpkin Spice Store!

For a detailed Supply List, please see below.

Well, that's it gals...I hope you'll join us, this week, at DYSU and make a project either using something old OR using a Vintage style...Can't wait to see what you create!

- One Crazy Stamper - December Challenge - Christmas/Holiday Theme
