Release Day at Paper and Such!

It's time for a new release at Paper and Such and I think this one is gonna knock your socks off!

We have 3 new sets for you this month and my project today uses two of the newly released sets.

I decided to make a set of simple cards and thought this STUNNING Daffodil set would be PERFECT!  I love how these daffodils look coloured but, I also love how beautiful they are when left uncoloured making for a quick card.  For the sentiments, I used the new Simple Sentiments set which, as the name suggests, has a few simple but, ESSENTIAL sentiments which would be a wonderful addition to ANY stamper's arsenal!  I would love to use a couple more floral stamps from Paper and Such to complete my set of cards...

You spread sunshine in my life...

Hey everyone!

Just popping in to share a quick card that I made using the new Daffodil stamp set from Paper and Such! 

It is such a bright and cheery set so, it feels very appropriate considering the BEAUTIFUL weather that I've been enjoying here in the Vancouver area since returning from my CHA trip in sunny California!  Unfortunately, I don't think this lovely weather is going to last much longer around here...we aren't supposed to see the sun again until Saturday and it looks like we'll be back to rain on Sunday!  Ah well, such is life in British Columbia...Well, at least I have this card to cheer me up until the sun returns...

I stamped the image and sentiment (both from PAS Daffodil) with Memento ink on PTI Rustric Cream cardstock and coloured the main image with Copics (Y21, Y23, Y26, YG93, YG95, YG97, BG0000).  I then added a strip of patterned paper from Authentique Blissful and matted it on PTI True Black cardstock.  Finally, I added some black and white gingham ribbon and adhered it to a PTI Rustic Cream cardstock card base.  Easy Peasy!
