Hi there!  

It's time for another challenge over at the Paper and Such Design Blog!

This time, we'd like to see you make a LOVE themed project.

Here is a photo for some inspiration:

This is what I came up with:

I took the inspiration photo quite literally using the colour scheme as well as several different elements such as the lace, the heart, and the L-O-V-E tiles.  I used the Simple Sentiments stamp set from Paper and Such along with some patterned paper from a MME Stella & Rose - Mabel 6x6 Paper Pad, some heart shaped Spellbinders which I sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Old Paper and some fabric lace that I bought at a local fabric store.  I finished the card off with a nice seam binding double looped bow made with my new Bow Easy and topped off with a large adhesive pearl from Recollections (Michaels)!

This week, I decided to do something that I RARELY do....make something other than a card!


Here is my project:

I thought I'd make a little something to give to a loved one for Valentines day.  I got some FABULOUS packaging kits by Martha Stewart Crafts while they were on sale at Michaels.  The kit I used on this project included boxes, cellophane bags, pink ribbon to tie (which I didn't use), and tags (which I also didn't use.  I decided to use some red ribbon to tie the bag shut.  Then I made the tag.  I kept it simple so, it was very easy to make.  Just A LOT of die-cutting!  The sentiment is from the TGF Made By set and was stamped in SU! Poppy Parade Classic ink.  After the tag was complete, I attached it to the package using a SUPER fun red, glittery clothespin by K & Company!  For a detailed supply list, please see below.
