Here is a card that I made for my friend's 3-year-old daughter's birthday. She is my little princess so, I thought it was a fitting image and sentiment. It was my first time using Copic markers on a card and my very first time colouring hair. I bought a bunch of Copic Sketch markers a while back but, haven't had much opportunity to play around with them...I've maybe practiced 3 times...I really need to take some Copic classes...especially with my new DT position on the DYSU Challenge Blog! However, I did take one really short class last month and will be taking another really short one next Friday...I do think the first 1-hour class did help me improve quite a bit. When I stamped the adorable TGF Princess Anya, I stamped it three times thinking that I would need to colour at least three before I'd be happy enough with the outcome to actually use it on my card...to my surprise and delight, I was shockingly happy with the first one! I might feel differently looking back as I improve, LOL, but, for now, I am happy. I rushed to colour the castle in the background as I was strapped for time and I could've done a better job but, I still think it looks ok...
I cased this awesome inspiration card from TGF Farm Fresh Challenge Blog - Mystery Monday (I used it as a sketch):
