TGF FFF: A Sketch Challenge

Hello friends and Happy Friday!

Can you believe it's already time for another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at the TGF Blog?

Well, it is and, today, Larisa has a sketch challenge for us!

Here's my interpretation:
For this card, I used Glimmer Bean from The Greeting Farm...isn't she adorable?  These are definitely not my typical colours but, for some reason, purple hair on this cutie just felt right!  I coloured her up with Copics (V93, V95, V99, E50, E51, E53, R30, Y21, Y23, Y26, R11, R12, R14, R22, BG72, BG75, BG78), adding some sparkle with a clear Spica pen, and cut her out with Spellbinders Classic Rectangles.  I then sponged the image with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Old Paper and did some paper-piercing around the perimeter.  I cut out a mat using Spellbinders Labels 23 and covered it with transparent glitter from Glitter Ritz before matting the main image.  The papers are from the MME Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks 6x6 Paper Pad.  I also added some transparent glitter to the scalloped border from MFT.  Finally, I added some 3mm Clear Flatback Rhinestones from Pizzazz Aplenty and some purple rhinestones from Recollections.

Here's the sketch:

Anyway, I hope you'll head on over to the TGF Blog and play along!
I'm sure the other girls have some eye-candy for you over there, too!

I look forward to seeing all of your wonderful entries!

Happy Stamping!

TGF FFF Challenge: No Colouring

Hey Everyone!
I'm back today with another Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at the TGF Blog!

This week, Showcase Farmer Thanh is challenging us to create a project with NO COLOURING!

Yes, folks, this was a bit of a tough one but, I got around it by paper-piecing instead...

Here's what I created:
I used the Sitting Cute and Sitting Casual stamp sets from The Greeting Farm.  I paper-pieced the couch image using papers from the MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 Paper Pad.   I cut out a piece of PTI Rustic White Cardstock with Spellbinders Labels 10 and sponged it using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Pumice Stone.   Next, I mounted the paper-pieced couch over the label.  I stamped the sentiment from Sitting Casual using SU! Classic Ink in Basic Gray.  Finally, I added a doily along with some flatback pearls and rhinestones from Pizzazz Aplenty, and voila!

Anyway, I hope you will join us over at the TGF Blog to see more inspiration from the rest of the team.  I can't wait to see what you can create without colouring!

Happy Stamping!

TGF FFF: Classic Patterns

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!
Well, I'm here with a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge over at the TGF Blog!

This week, we'd like to see you use classic patterns!

Here's what I came up with:
As you can see, I used both houndstooth and striped patterns on my card.  I used the Sitting Casual set from The Greeting Farm and papers from the MME Lost & Found Breeze 6x6 Paper Pad.  I used Spellbinders Labels 22 to frame the chair, sponging it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Old Paper and Tumbled Glass.  The sentiment is from Market Street Stamps Daily Grind.  To finish it all off, I added some 4mm Dark Chocolate Flatback Pearls from Pizzazz Aplenty, some twine in Cappucino from The Twinery, and a Vintage Button in Ocean Tides from Papertrey Ink.

Anyway, thanks so much for stopping by...I hope you'll play along this week!
Head on over to the TGF Blog to see the official rules, see more inspiration from the DT, and to link up your project!

PS: Just a hint for future reference, there is always a link on the left sidebar that will take you to the most recent FFF challenge!

Happy Stamping!

Pretty in Pink with OCS...

Hey Everyone!
I hope you're all enjoying the holiday!

I am just popping in for a quick post to share a card that I made for my guest design spot over at One Crazy Stamper this month...

Here we go:

and here is the inside:

I used the Baby Love stamp set from Flourishes.  Did you read the poem?  It's sweet, isn't it, and all too true.

This is a super straight forward card so, I won't get into all of the details but, I did use papers from the MME Lost & Found Madison Avenue 6x6 Paper Pad which is retired.  The main image was sponged with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Spun Sugar and Old Paper and the 5mm Ivory Flatback Pearls are from Pizzazz Aplenty.  You can find the rest of the items below in the supply list.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.
I hope you have an AMAZING Easter weekend!

Happy Stamping!
Naomi
