Flying by to say hi...

Hi everyone!

I just returned from CHA but, I have a couple of TGF cards that I wanted to share today.

For this first card, I used Miss Anya Garland.  I coloured her up with Copics (E50, E51, E53, R30, RV10, RV11, R22, R24, R27, W0, W2) and paper-pieced the banner to match the rest of the card using Echo Park's Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad.  Of course, the red heart is another TGF stamp from the Blush Heart set.  I thought it would make the perfect backdrop for the sentiment.  I used Showcase Farmer Tracy's tip on colouring embellishments and used my R27 Copic marker to colour the lace trim to match.  Added some twine and a button and voila!  I also used the Deconstructed Sketch No. 35 as a guideline.

For this second card, I used the Lucky Bunnies set and did some paper-piecing.  I had this "flying by to say hi" sentiment and just knew it would be PERFECT with this bunny image.  He originally only had one balloon but, I stamped it 5 times on different coordinating papers from the My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy Boy 6x6 paper pad and paper-pieced a whole bunch of balloons...enough to send him flying!  The bunny himself was stamped on PTI Rustic White cardstock and was lightly shaded and coloured with Copics (W0, W2, R30).  Some twine from The Twinery, a few pearls and some ribbon were just enough to finish this card off!
